In the aftermath of the devastating 6.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Morocco, killing more than 1,000 people and injuring hundreds more, JDC is on the ground in Marrakesh, working to lift lives and help the hardest-hit communities.

Our response — coordinated in partnership with the Jewish community of Morocco, where JDC has worked since 1947 — is focused on meeting the most urgent needs, things like food, temporary shelter, medicine and medical support, and evacuation support, if needed.
