Dr Rick Hodes is an American medical doctor specialising in cancer, heart disease and spinal conditions. He has worked in Ethiopia for over 30 years, saving lives. He is the medical director of the Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Many of Dr Hode’s patients come from the poorest sectors of Ethiopian society and frequently travel for days on foot to reach him. For these people he is their only recourse.
