Role Overview

We are seeking a Fundraising Director to drive fundraising efforts, build relationships with high-net-worth individuals and the broader community, and strengthen JDC’s presence in Australia. This role will focus on securing major gifts, increasing awareness, organizing events / missions and ensuring long-term donor engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, personable, and results-driven professional with a strong passion for philanthropy, Jewish community service, and humanitarian causes.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Passion for Philanthropy:
    • A deep commitment to humanitarian work, Jewish community support, and global impact.
  • Fundraising & Relationship Management:
    • Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, or relationship management.
    • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Event Planning & Community Engagement:
    • Experience organizing large-scale events, donor trips, and community outreach programs.
    • Strong networking skills and ability to mobilize volunteers and community members.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Highly personable, likeable, and able to connect with people on a deep level.
    • Honest, passionate, and driven by a strong social conscience.
    • A self-starter who is proactive, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with a small team.
    • Results driven and highly resourceful
